Privacy policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
This policy explains what data we use to send status notifications, how long we keep it, and how you can access or delete it.
Data controller and contact
Ohmydown, a todo10 project, operating from Madrid, Spain, is responsible for the subscription data described here. For privacy requests, email privacy@ohmydown.com.
Data we collect
When you request status updates, we collect your email address, subscription scope, confirmation status, request and confirmation times, IP address used as consent evidence, source, and policy version. We do not ask for your name.
Purpose and legal basis
We use this information only to confirm your request, send the status updates you selected, prevent abuse, and demonstrate consent. The legal basis is your consent. A subscription does not become active until you confirm it by email.
Retention
Unconfirmed subscription requests expire and are deleted after 7 days. Confirmed subscriptions remain until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Using an unsubscribe link deletes the subscription record immediately. Short-lived security logs may remain for up to 30 days unless they are needed to investigate abuse or meet a legal obligation.
Service providers and international transfers
We use Cloudflare for hosting, database and network delivery; HetrixTools for infrastructure monitoring; and the SMTP provider configured by the status-page operator for email delivery. These providers process only the data required for their role. Production data is intended to use Cloudflare’s European data location. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, appropriate contractual safeguards must apply.
Your rights
You may withdraw consent and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of your data. Email privacy@ohmydown.com. You may also complain to your local supervisory authority; in Spain, this is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos.
Cookies and tracking
Public status pages use no analytics, advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Theme preference is stored locally in your browser and is not sent to Ohmydown.
Security and changes
We restrict administrative access, encrypt network traffic, minimize collected data and rotate operational credentials. We will update this page when our providers, retention rules or controller details change.
